Bedtime Story for Kids
You've had a long day at work followed by the making and cleaning up of dinner, homework arguments and threats, baths and the
final picking up of toys and clothes. It is finally time for the kids to go to bed and you're exhausted. You can't wait till
you can sit down, relax, maybe watch a little television and then go to bed yourself. The last thing you may feel like doing is
taking fifteen minutes to read a bedtime story for kids, but it may be the most important thing you do all day.
Fifteen minutes is all it takes to help your child become a better reader and writer and even a better speaker. It will engender
a love of reading that will last a lifetime. It offers them the chance to enhance their imagination as well as teaching them how
things work in the world. It gives them a richer vocabulary, better grammar, and an increased attention span.
A lot of parents may read to their child until they learn to read for themselves. Please don't stop. Children love the companionship
and undivided attention that comes with a bedtime story. You can also read to them the more complex and interesting stories they can't
yet read themselves. Reading is a difficult skill to learn and desire is a key ingredient. Bedtime stores for kids are a great way to feed that desire.
You and your child can look forward all day to that time when everything else is set aside and you enter together into another world.

With all the distractions of modern life that pull families apart, invest fifteen minutes in an activity that has no downside,
only positive benefits. As your child begs you to read just a little more, you'll know that you are giving your child one of the most
